2012 Programmes

A BIG congratulations to our selected delegates! We’re so excited to be participating in so many programs this year!

Are you interested in these opportunities? Do you know anyone that may be?

~ We are looking for one more 12 - 13 year old girl to fill our Interchange delegation. Having almost a full delegation already, this is an exciting opportunity!
~ For several years we have selected a 'Mystery Village' (or two) where we select the delegates, along with a leader, ahead of time. This allows us to accept Village invitations immediately if and when we receive an offer! We have been very successful in accepting Mystery Villages over the past 5 years. This year we have two Mystery Villages and there could be an opportunity to participate in a Village for three 11 year old girls!
~ We are looking for a 16 - 18 year old male or female for our Youth Meeting in Il de France, France
~ Someone over 21 who would be interested in being a leader

Youth Meeting Staff
CISV Waterloo is hosting a Youth Meeting this year for 12 – 13 yr olds from July 17 – 31st. We will be the second chapter in Canada to host this program! If you know of anyone 21 years or older, who might be interested in staffing this camp, please have them contact our chapter email and we will get in touch with them. We are just learning about this program and the hosting guidelines, so we will keep you posted with updates!

With our Junior Branch having a very full program for the upcoming year, we know that there truly is something for everyone with CISV Waterloo. We are very proud of our Junior Branch and all they do! Watch for their e-mails with upcoming events, have your child/ren join in and invite a friend too! You too will see firsthand why they won the YMCA Peace Award on their mission to: Build Global Friendships
