Join alumni and current members for an evening of stories and connection, reminiscing about 75 years of raising active global citizens and looking toward the future of CISV.
This is an all-ages casual event at the Kitchener Market! You can expect good company, nostalgic games, a silent auction, and a bar selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Your ticket also includes an amazing fried chicken meal from the renowned Wooden Boat Food Company. Chef Thompson's passion for equitable access to food, sustainability in food systems, and the importance of food literacy, food education, and food security is in perfect alignment with CISV's values! 🌍

Our first JB Activity of the school year! All youth ages 10-18 are welcome to come out for an evening of fun!
While the youth are in the gym, the parents can meet in the library for an information night. Curious to learn more about CISV? Perfect! Come join us!
The TriGator is a kids triathlon held in Elmira every year.
The race organizers get organizations to help with the event. For every 15 volunteers that we gather for them, our CISV chapter will receive $500.
So, it's a great way to give back locally AND support our CISV chapter!
The only time commitment is on race day - June 20th. We will be assigned volunteer positions when we get there. Volunteers can be 14+ so a good chance for the youth in our region to get some volunteer hours as well!

The Farewell Party is a great evening of connection and fun!
The youth that are travelling this summer will have the opportunity to share a little about their upcoming adventures.

On Saturday February 28th, CISV Waterloo, along with many other CISV branches across Canada, participate in the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk to raise money for local charities that serve people that are hurt, hungry and homeless. Locally, CISV Waterloo puts together a team that supports Ray of Hope, in downtown Kitchener.
The 2km/5km walk goes along King Street in Kitchener and starts around 4:30pm.
Before the walk, there will be a JB activity at Rockway Church basement for all CISV youth from 2:30-4pm. Mark it down!
The much anticipated cookie-a-thon details are getting finalized!
Please mark your calendars for Friday February 6th (7pm) to Saturday February 7th (9:30am).
This will be a fun activity for all youth ages 10-17.
At the sweetest event on the CISV calendar, youth will be rotating in and out of the kitchen baking cookies that will be donated to a local homeless shelter. When not baking, lots of fun will be had with CISV activities.

For those interested in travelling with CISV Waterloo in 2026, it is mandatory that you attend our Selection Days - Saturday December 6th (9:30am-3:30pm) and Sunday December 7th (9:30am-12noon).
This is an important step as it’s where prospective participants are evaluated for their suitability for CISV programs. These events involve activities designed to assess skills like teamwork, communication, and interest in peace education, while also learning more about CISV and its programs. The Selection Committee observes participants during these activities to guide their decision-making process.

The dates have been finalized and we are excited! All youth (ages 10-17) are invited to attend our Fall mini camp.
Mini camps take place in all CISV Chapters around the world. They typically include various activities such as team-building exercises, games, discussions, and workshops focused on themes like peace education, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship.
Our fall mini camp will just be for our CISV Waterloo youth but offers a glimpse into the larger CISV experience.
