This mighty chapter is run fully by volunteers. These volunteers make up our Board and meet once a month for a hybrid meeting. There are a variety of positions that tap into various interests and capacities… so there’s something for everyone!

EVERYONE is invited to come on the 26th for an evening of fun. CISV activities will be taking place in the gym for everyone.

For those that are travelling this upcoming summer, you will get to meet your leader too! Parents are all asked to attend too.

Every year, CISV Waterloo participates in the National Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser. This event is organized by Ray of Hope and collects money for those in need in our local KW community.

JB Activity - there will be an event prior to the walk just for the youth starting at 2:30pm.

CNOY Walk - The youth then join everyone else for the walk that starts around 4:30pm. To join our CISV Waterloo ‘team’ and fundraise for Ray of Hope, please check out THIS LINK.

A great CISV experience starts with great leaders and staff, and we do our best to make sure ours are amazing! 

CISV Waterloo LEADERS and STAFF are carefully selected from applicants who are 21 or over (before date of travel), demonstrate a strong interest in the goals and philosophy of CISV, and have the maturity and experience to handle the responsibilities assigned to them.

The Welcome Back Party is a fun, casual evening for all of those that attended a CISV program this past summer to share their experience. Everyone is invited!

This will be a potluck so please bring a little to share. Extra points if it is from a country that you just traveled or would like to travel :)

Also, please bring a lawnchair or blanket to sit on in the gym (at JF Carmichael School).

Once a month, a group of fun, committed adult volunteers get together (virtually and in person) to keep this mighty organization going.

The LMO (Like-Minded Organizations Committee) within the JB Exec have planned an evening for CISV Waterloo to go to the Waterloo Region Food Bank!

We will get a tour of the amazing facilities and then have an opportunity to sort the food that has been donated.
